What keeps you from your regular meditation routine?

Morning. Sunrise. Beach.

When I started to meditate, thoughts crowded my mind of all the things I needed to do that day.

Can you relate?

I have since found that writing down everything I need to get done the night before helps me get a better night's sleep and be attentive to my morning meditation.

My mind is not worried about forgetting something when it's written down, and it can rest.

But this time, it was something entirely different.

I have been hosting a weekly morning meditation for over two years. Over the last few weeks, I started to feel unrest about it.

I knew something was missing.

Have you ever felt like something is off?

Maybe it's something you have been doing for a while, enjoyed for a time, but now your heart is not into it. What do you do when that happens?

I knew I still enjoyed the peaceful, grounding and relaxing effects of meditation.

But as I sensed into the unrest, I realized I felt out of touch with the group. I don't usually  get to see or interact with you.

I thought changing to Tuesday mornings would help because I know that when something feels off, something needs to change.

After all, doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results, is the very definition of insanity.

And nothing changes if nothing changes.

So I changed something. But it didn't make a difference.

And after a few weeks leaning into it I finally realized what's so needed - meaningful and insightful conversations to create a deeper connection to each other and our meditation practice.

And that is why Morning Meditations is now Thursdays, 7am EST so it can include a few minutes for the group to share anything that came up, any insights, questions or thoughts, so we can expand the practice through connection with each other.

We learn so much more when we can put our thoughts and ideas into words and share them with others.

So that's the flow of Morning Meditations going forward. At least, let's try it out and see what happens.

The link and reminder for LIVE Thursday morning group mediation will now be sent Wednesday evening, 8pm to those that have subscribed.  You need only subscribe once, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

If you cannot attend on Thursday mornings, the meditation recording will still be available so you can practice at your convenience. The discussion will NOT be recorded to preserve the safe container of open and authentic sharing. As always, you continue to be welcome to participate in the meditation portion only and forgo the conversation.

There is no right or wrong, and I encourage you to trust exactly what you need.

Life is all about course-correcting - doing what works, while it works, and then changing direction when it doesn't appear to be working any more.

It's all about giving ourselves permission to change what is no longer working, even if it worked for a long time.

Much love,

Live. Love. Laugh. It matters because YOU matter.

Is there something holding you back? Do you feel stuck, ashamed, unlovable, unworthy or depressed? Do you long to transform your life and create what you truly desire most?
